About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Development Representative to help drive growth for Aexis Medical by identifying and qualifying new opportunities within the healthcare sector. Your focus will be on building strong connections with potential customers in the NHS and private healthcare providers, showcasing our innovative software solutions for operating rooms, endoscopy, sterilization tracking, and track-and-trace processes.
This is a pivotal role within our sales team, requiring a blend of outreach, relationship-building, and strategic thinking to ensure a consistent pipeline of well-qualified leads that align with Aexis Medical’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential customers who fit the company’s ideal buyer profile.
- Lead generation: Reaching out to prospects through various channels like cold calls, emails, and social media to initiate contact.
- Lead qualification: Assessing the potential needs and interest of prospects to determine if they are a good fit for the company’s offering
- Create detailed account maps, engaging with senior healthcare stakeholders to understand their current challenges, assess product fit, and identify buyer readiness.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, video calls, and LinkedIn, utilizing personalized content to attract and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Develop targeted outreach campaigns tailored to the specific needs and challenges of healthcare organizations, including NHS trusts and private providers.
- Conduct a high volume of proactive outbound prospecting calls (ramping up to 40-50 per day) to engage with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Book a consistent number of well-qualified meetings for the sales team with decision-makers in healthcare settings.
- Work towards defined targets and KPIs to drive measurable growth.
- Drive new qualified opportunities into the sales funnel by scheduling sales appointments with Account Development Managers.
- Follow up with leads generated through webinars, events, and marketing campaigns, ensuring timely engagement and follow-through.
- Build, develop, and manage a pipeline of potential healthcare customers, capturing critical information in the CRM to support ongoing sales efforts.
About you
- While not essential, at least 1 year of successful experience in a B2B environment in business development, telemarketing, or telesales is desirable, particularly in the healthcare or software sectors.

- Self-starter, motivated, and driven, with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
